SIERRA SCHLAG : WHY I SLUT STRAND

[Why I Slut Strand] : Hey team :) My name is Sierra Schlag (@_schlag_ ), but most people call me Schlag. I grew up in Park City, UT competing in moguls and halfpipe and then I decided USSA wasn’t for me. I went to college in Colorado and found a squad of chicks that rip and they got me fired up about skiing big mountain and backcountry. Now I live in Carbondale, CO, I work for @evo and I fill my cup being a social media skier (le duh)!

I slut strand because growing up as a Japanese-American in the ski world, I rarely, if ever saw someone that looked like me. This community is so special and diverse - my hope is to bring more diversity and inclusion to the outdoor industry, so the younger generations have representation in the people they look up to!! Also, I slut strand bc there is no better feeling than ripping past a dude or stomping a spin with your strands flowing in the wind.
